Mary Doria Russell

Mary Doria Russell is an American author with a PhD in biological anthropology. She won the Arthur C. Clarke Award and the British Science Fiction Award for The Sparrow. Facing the Mountain tells the story of Japanese American men who volunteered to fight for the United States during World War II despite their families being held in internment camps.
