Francisco Cantú is an American writer and former Border Patrol agent. The Line Becomes a River: Dispatches from the Border is his memoir about his four years as a Border Patrol agent, exploring the complexities and moral weight of enforcing border policy. It won the Los Angeles Times Book Prize.
