Charles Dickens

Charles Dickens (1812–1870) was an English author and social critic who created some of the world's best-known fictional characters. He wrote 15 novels including Oliver Twist, A Tale of Two Cities, and Great Expectations. Considered the greatest novelist of the Victorian era, his works remain widely read today.
