Corey Ford

Corey Ford (1902–1969) was an American humorist, author, and outdoor writer who contributed to many major American magazines including The New Yorker, Vanity Fair, and Field & Stream. Where the Sea Breaks Its Back tells the story of Georg Steller, the naturalist on Vitus Bering's ill-fated expedition to Alaska.
