Patrick F. McManus

Patrick F. McManus (1933–2018) was an American humorist, outdoor writer, and mystery author. He was a longtime columnist for Outdoor Life and Field & Stream. Known for his comedic takes on hunting, fishing, and outdoor life, Never Sniff a Gift Fish is one of his beloved essay collections.
